A Quick “How To” for Two Important Features in the Members Area
The SiteBuilder Quick Start Program
After you have started an account with GDI, we want you to get your benefits and get started as soon as possible. Too often, people sign up and don’t start using their domain as soon as they can. Many people may simply forget to set up their website at their new .ws domain or believe it’s going to take too much time. To ease this problem, GDI has begun a new Quick Start Program to remind and to help new people get their new site started faster than ever. This will get your new people to be using their domain quickly.
How It Works
After 48 hours of signing someone up, the GDI team will check to see if SiteBuilder is set up or not and then offer more assistance based on the following qualifications.
GDI will move forward in helping you with the Quick Start Program, if you:
- DO NOT have site builder set as their domain, and there is no existing page
- We will not make any changes to your site or send emails if you have a replicated site or WordPress set up as your site
- If you DO NOT have SiteBuilder set and no site set up, GDI will send a “Get online in 30 seconds!” email. All that needs to be done to get a site online at this point it to click on the link and upload a your photo and enter your first name. You’re done. This basic site will also include the guestbook feature.
- GDI respects your privacy and WILL NOT automatically put your phone and email on your site.
- Once your simple site is live, you will be instructed to check your email for information on how to to tell you friends about your new site and ways to share your new domain online and direct people to the website
Now in just 30 seconds anyone can have their .ws site online. This is of course just the first steps to get people going, we hope you will revisit the members area to build and edit your site to create the best experience for you and your visitors!
Google Translate Feature:
To assist our worldwise users and members, GDI has installed Google Translate into the members area. Google Translate simply takes the text of your members area and translates it to the language you set for ease of use. The addition of Google Translate allows you to view your members area in up for 53 language. You are also given the opportunity to change your language permanently, so you don’t need to adjust your members area every time you log in. Be aware that some graphics will not be translate as Google Translate only recognizes text.

-Blog.Ws-Domain.ws-Tips for Using Social Media to Drive Traffic to Your .ws Domain
If you’ve ever visited the GDI Facebook or Twitter pages, you can see that social networking sites are a great way to share content, start conversations and drive people to your site. GDI members use their .ws domains for a number of reasons, but all sites can benefit from more interested, educated and active traffic. Below are some tips to help you use social media to boost your site visits and in turn your down line.
1. Create a Facebook and Twitter Page for Your Company/ Website
This may seem like a simple step, but many people assume that since they have their own website, they don’t need to create additional sites. This is wrong. Social networking sites are an amazing opportunity to get direct feedback from those people who visit your sites as well as another forum to publicize your company/website. The are TONS of social networking sties, but if you don’t have time to sign up with multiple sites (who does?) then Facebook and Twitter are the site you must absolutely have a presence on. Sign up! Facebook Twitter
2. Communicate with Others
Social networks are just that, a place to be social and a great place to network. Like I mentioned above, social networks are an amazing tool for communicating with people who follow your website/ company. You can use Twitter or Facebook to ask questions to your base, start conversations with experts or identify potential followers and customers. Use the search option on Twitter to search by keyword for like minded people and follow those who seem like they could benefit from your website/company or vice versa. Do not just blast your link to your site constantly. This is a sure fire way to get people to unfollow and unfan you! Think what you would like to see on social networks and what people like you could benefit from and share that content. Read on for more information on content.
3. Content is King
Like any successful business, you need to offer people something. The best and easiest thing you can offer people in the world of social networking is content. You can be on Facebook and Twitter all day, but unless you are offering people something interesting or useful, they are not going to have any desire to continue to follow you or become a fan of your website/company. Offer your followers something by sharing great content. You can share self written articles, how tos, articles you liked, news stories and more. You can share anything you’d like, but before you post, ask yourself if what you are sharing is adding value for your followers, as long as it is, post away.
This just the surface of social network, but if you enact these tips you are on your way to having a very successful social networking presence and in turn driving people to your website and GDI oppurtunity. Check back for more social networking tips!

Q&A: Are There Any Good Ways to Generate GDI Leads Offline?
In a world where online businesses are now king, it’s easy to forget that brick and mortar stores still have needs. To generate leads offline you need to get creative and think of the needs of those you are hoping to be your next leads.
As was mentioned in a recent webinar, take the example of your local pizza delivery place. They may or may not have a website, and they surely have a phone number. Most of their customers are probaly regulars. How can YOU and GDI get them more business. How about a website for them like orderpizza.ws? This alone will give them a leg up. Orderpizza.ws is surely easier to remember than a 10 digit phone number. This is just one example, but it will hopefully get your wheels turning for how you can generate offline leads. Be sure to share your ideas and experiences with this in the comments! Best of luck!

Many of you are lucky enough to know Bart Dangerfield as that ever helpful voice from our webinars. Bart is a virtual wealth of information and tips on how to be successful with GDI, not to mention the fact he gets to hear new tips in every single webinar.
To offer even more to our GDI users, Bart was kind enough to share his advice with us for where to turn when you need help. You can look forward to more tips on this topic and many others in the future. Read on for Bart’s advice.
“I need help … where do I turn?” Many times, a new GDI Affiliate can be confused about where to get help, especially when getting started. Since GDI’s product offering can be used in so many different ways, sometimes it’s hard to know exactly where to start.
Regardless of the business model or “system” that initially attracted you to GDI, there are 4 powerful resources that every GDI Affiliate should turn to for help:
1. Contact your immediate upline
2. Use the products
3. Explore your Members Area
4. Get on GDI’s weekly webinars
Today, we will focus on Contacting Your Upline.
Chances are, when you joined GDI, you did so because you were attracted by the system and approach being offered by a specific GDI affiliate. Therefore, your first stop for help in getting started with or being successful using that system should be the individuals who introduced you to it.
If you don’t know how to contact this individual, just log into your GDI Member’s Area and select the “Upline” menu option. If you have trouble getting with your direct sponsor, work your way up the list as far as you go until you get the help you need!
Also always there to help you is GDI’s top-notch Support department that is available to answer your questions by phone or email. You will be surprised at the depth of knowledge they can bring, not only to help you understand your product or working in the Member’s Area, but also tips about building your business and sharing the GDI opportunity with others.
Contact them simply by clicking on the “Request Support” link from within your GDI Member’s Area.

New users can often become overwhelmed by all the GDI has to offer and in turn become a little lost. An easy way to combat this issue is to explore your members area. Below are two tips for doing just that.
1.Use the Products: It’s amazing what a little experience can do. Many times an affiliate might not know where to start. To get over this feeling, try simply using the products. This can be done just by using the product by adding content to a website or using your own .WS email address and can really provide insights into how to successfully share and communicate those benefits with others.
So, become “a product of the product” and continue using all the features provided with your GDI product package. You will be amazed at the ideas this can generate to help you be successful.
2. Explore Your Members Area: Well over 90% of the questions being fielded by GDI’s customer service department are already answered within the GDI Members Area. Because there is so much information here, it can be a little intimidating. However, if you start by clicking on the main “Support” menu command along the top of your Members Area, you will see that this resource can guide you through to find the answer to just about any topic.
Also, don’t forget to review the “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ) section as well, here: http://website.ws/faq/. Both of these resources can most likely give you the answers you seek to just about any question, whether related to using the products or building your buiness.
Have you used any of the above techniques to create a better experience with GDI? Leave your answers in the comments.
-Blog.Ws-Domain.ws-A Few Tips for Success from Your Fellow Affiliates
As we’ve said, Social Media is great for feedback, and now we are putting it to good use to help you. When our affiliates respond to us on Facebook, Twitter, Forums and every where else we listen. And now we’re sharing. In case you missed some of these great pieces of advice on Facebook, or you aren’t a fan on Facebook (change that here) we will now be featuring some of our best tips and success stories FROM YOU on the blog.
Below is some awesome encouragement from one of our affiliates, Vincent R. Parker.
Vincent R. Parker: Mindset has A LOT to do with YOUR business. Much more than most people realize, and the few who do realize it have received much training and experience to really appreciate that fact. And with that here is my advice: Never ever quit! Do not be a grasshopper jumping from one opportunity to the next thinking THIS business will do it for me. NO business will do it for you until you make it YOUR business. Get training on a daily basis and then act on that training. Step outside the box. Talk to people. Look for opportunities all around you. Talk to your pizza guy. Talk to businesses in your area. Start providing value for people online. Answer questions. Build relationships. Above all, work your heart out. Hard to give solid advice in so few words, but that’s mine. Hope it helps a bit. ![]()
We also have one more tip from Bart Dangerfield, the voice of our webinars. If you haven’t attended one, it’s time sto start! Also, catch up on past webinars at: http://gdiwebinars.ws/
Bart Dangerfield: Each week, GDI conducts a free webinar open to affiliates and their guests. Even though this webinar is conducted by top field leaders with GDI who represent several different systems, the content that is provided is applicable to ANY GDI affiliate who seeks to be successful.
The webinar starts with a quick 15-minute overview of the company and products, specifically designed for guests and new affiliates who want to learn more about getting started with GDI. Next, corporate news and updates are given. But by far, the most popular portion of the webinar is the live Q&A session where affiliates can ask their questions directly to GDI’s top leaders and most successful affiliates. These questions each week range from how to set up a website to the most effective tools to use in building your online business. To register for the webinar, simply go to:http://register.gdiwebinars.ws

-Blog.Ws-Domain.ws-Do You Have The Time To Market Your Business?
Well, do you? If not, how do you have time to run a profitable business? By profitable, I am not just talking about money. I also include time to do what you want in profitability. Time is money, right?
With this golden nuggets you need to “work” no more than 4 hours a day! Use them in your business today!
1) The foundation is your desk. How clean and organized is your desk? Do you adopt the principle of “use it, file it, or throw it away” with every single item that comes across your desk? You either use information (paper, email, whatever), file information (only if you have TIME STAMPED when you are going to use it), or throw it away completely! Some items are just not important enough to waste valuable time on.
2) Magazines, do you read them? Really, do you? Or, like I used to, do you let them stack up in a pile…hoping to get to them someday. When you finally do, they are outdated…or you manage to read a small part of a magazine, then throw it back on the pile you created. Here is the secret: Use the table of contents! Find those articles you like right away, and rip or cut them out of the magazine! Then, read now, or file the article in a folder for that magazine subject or title. It is much easier to read the articles you are interested in only…and it makes sense.
3) Do you find yourself listening to audio recordings? If so, a real timesaver is to listen to the recording at double speed (2x). In 99% of the cases, you can still understand what is being said, and it doubles your efficiency in getting information. This cuts your listening time in half!
4) How organized is your office? Is your office chair in easy reach of filing cabinets, supplies, and other necessary items without having to get up? Getting up and down for a few seconds each time adds up quickly…this technique alone can save you an hour a day! What can you do with an extra 60 minutes? Perhaps take lunch?
5) How do you process “interruptions?” Do you end up checking a blank email box 20 times a day, or check it three times at specific times of the day? Do you schedule phone calls, or do you pick up the phone and answer it every time Aunt Mable calls? How you handle your incoming activities (phone, email, people visiting etc…) can seriously take away from your valuable time!
Remember one idea here…NOBODY AND NOTHING controls your time except YOU! It is a conscious decision that you make to take a phone call or send another email…attend a meeting…or any other time suckers.
Please don’t take it out on other people when “you don’t have enough time.” It is YOU that made that decision in the first place.
